Specialist Software Engineer - Bigdata (Scala & Spark)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Understand user expectations and develop technical solutions while raising clarifications with stakeholders.
• Respect all development practices and guidelines.
• Ensure principles of security and architecture are maintained.
• Work effectively with other team members by sharing best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Scala.
• Advanced experience with BigData Frameworks.
• Advanced experience with REST services.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Experience in Agile methodology and JIRA is an added advantage.
• PL/SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
• UX knowledge is a plus.
