Specialist Software Engineer (ERP Configurator)

Role Overview

The Specialist Software Engineer (ERP Configurator) will focus on ERP Application Development and Maintenance for the core MILES system. This role involves implementing and modifying configurations to meet business requirements without regressions, while managing support and change requests through the full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Implement and modify ERP configurations to meet business requirements.
• Manage support and Change Requests following the end-to-end SDLC.
• Collaborate with business users and colleagues for successful deployment.
• Identify and execute test strategies, test plans, and functional test cases.
• Prepare and conduct functional reviews and training sessions.
• Work closely with customers and cross-location teams to maintain consistent delivery.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in a Techno-Functional role.
• Proven experience in ERP Configuration and Application Support.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Database Queries and Procedures.
• Ability to work in different shifts (day and afternoon).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong fundamentals in Leasing is an added advantage.
