Intern DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Join Soft Solvers Solutions Pvt. Ltd as a Cloud / DevOps Intern in a remote, work-from-home capacity. You will assist in managing server infrastructure, cloud services, and deployment pipelines to ensure high availability and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Linux (Ubuntu) servers, Nginx web servers, and MySQL databases.
• Help maintain basic AWS services including EC2, S3, Security Groups, and Load Balancers.
• Use Git for code management and assist with basic deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Assist in checking server uptime and application logs using Grafana and CloudWatch.
• Keep infrastructure records and step-by-step guides up to date.

Requirements

• Comfortable with Linux (Ubuntu) command-line commands and basic troubleshooting.
• Understanding of AWS basics such as EC2, S3, and Security Groups.
• Basic knowledge of Nginx and hosting PHP applications.
• Basic MySQL knowledge for running queries.
• Hands-on experience with Git (branching, pushing, and pull requests).

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Docker/containers.
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana or CloudWatch.
• Basic Shell or Python scripting.
