PHP CodeIgniter Developer (Experienced)

Role Overview

Softscholars Technologies is recruiting on behalf of R.K. Creators for the position of PHP CodeIgniter Developer / Backend Developer. We are seeking technically strong, experienced candidates looking for a stable, long-term career opportunity in Gandhipuram, Coimbatore. This is a full-time, in-person role requiring immediate or short-notice availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
• Work with MVC architecture.
• Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases and queries.
• Develop and integrate APIs.
• Troubleshoot application and code-related issues.
• Integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Test and maintain web applications.
• Maintain existing codebases, fix bugs, and implement new features.
• Improve application and database performance.
• Convert functional requirements into reliable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant PHP development experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of CodeIgniter 3 / CodeIgniter 4.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Experience with MySQL and database management.
• Ability to work with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work with existing codebases.
• Must be able to commute to Gandhipuram, Coimbatore.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Tamil language proficiency required.
