Role Overview
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on automating infrastructure provisioning, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and performance across cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure Bicep.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments and platform automation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline operational tasks.
- Design, manage, and optimize SQL databases, ensuring performance tuning and security.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver reliable platform solutions.
- Implement infrastructure security controls, identity management, and compliance standards.
- Manage networking components, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, and load balancers.
- Configure and maintain monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.
- Ensure infrastructure follows best practices for scalability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure Engineering.
- Expertise in Terraform and Azure Bicep for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Strong experience with SQL, including database administration and optimization.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of networking, identity management, and cloud governance.
