Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Professor for the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting high-quality research, and contributing to the academic and administrative growth of the institution in compliance with AICTE/UGC regulations.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.Tech) courses in Computer Science & Engineering.
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, laboratory manuals, and course materials.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, seminars, and workshops.
- Design question papers, assignments, quizzes, and evaluate student performance.
- Guide B.Tech and M.Tech projects, internships, dissertations, and research activities.
- Mentor students for academic, technical, and career development.
- Conduct quality research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
- Apply for funded research projects and collaborate with industry and academic institutions.
- Participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities (NBA, NAAC, AICTE).
- Contribute to departmental administration, committees, examinations, admissions, and student activities.
- Organize Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, conferences, and technical events.
- Use modern teaching methodologies, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital tools.
- Support placement, innovation, entrepreneurship, and consultancy initiatives.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (or equivalent).
- M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or related specialization.
- Ph.D. in CSE or related discipline (Preferred/Required as per AICTE/UGC norms).
- 0–5 years of teaching, research, or relevant industry experience.
- Fresh M.Tech/Ph.D. candidates with excellent academic records may be considered.
