Python Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 5+ years of experience to build production-grade applications emphasizing scalability, maintainability, and performance. Core Python expertise is mandatory, and the primary evaluation criteria will be Python fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience building production-grade applications with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Strong expertise in concurrency and parallelism, including:
  • Multithreading and multiprocessing
  • Synchronous and asynchronous programming (e.g., async/await)
• Designing for throughput, latency, and safe shared-state handling.
• Proven experience integrating with external systems via application interfaces, including:
  • Building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Authentication/authorization patterns (e.g., API keys, OAuth where applicable)
  • Reliable integration patterns (timeouts, retries, idempotency, error handling)
• Writing efficient, complex SQL queries (joins, aggregations, window functions) and optimizing performance.
• Working with Apache Spark and distributed data processing concepts or supporting Spark applications (e.g., Spark SQL, DataFrames, performance tuning basics, partitioning/shuffles).

Requirements

• Advanced Python proficiency with strong command of both functional and object-oriented (OOP) programming paradigms.
• Strong backend development experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark is required.
• Education: BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Candidates must be comfortable with a 5-week onboarding process.
