As a Software Developer with the Data & Research Development team, you will use a wide range of technologies and cultivate a collaborative environment with other internal teams. The team is responsible for the architecture, design, development, quality, and maintenance of the next-generation platform. Join a dynamic team that collaborates across eight locations to develop enterprise-grade applications, serving a large and growing customer base. Other responsibilities include transforming product requirements into technical design and implementation.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end SDLC: architecture, design, development, and support using React.js and .NET Core.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and follow Agile best practices.
- Write clean, scalable, efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Create technical design documents and run technical walkthroughs.
- Perform/participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years desktop application development experience.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Proficiency with SDLC methodologies, especially Agile and test-driven development (TDD).
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux, and .NET Core.
- Database knowledge: SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Strong Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) knowledge.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of cloud platform architecture, including containerization tools.
- Ability to resolve performance issues using testing, debugging, profiling.
- Strong problem-solving, high attention to detail.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with stream processing platforms, GraphQL, and AI prompting.
- Exposure to additional JS frameworks/libraries such as Angular or Vue.js.
- Handson experience with GitHub copilot.
