Python Developer

Role Overview

SparkBrains Private Limited is seeking a talented Python Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Django to join our growing tech team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate should be passionate about writing clean, efficient code and enjoy working in a collaborative development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Django
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members
• Develop, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to project planning

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and its core libraries
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Django
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and web services
• Experience with ORMs, authentication, middleware, and Django admin customization
• Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with Git for version control
• Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
