QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a quality-first mindset, and hands-on experience in designing, executing, and automating test cases for modern web applications, specifically focusing on AI-powered applications and LLM-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) or equivalent automation tools.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform end-to-end Manual Testing including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, System, UAT, Cross-Browser, Cross-Platform, Responsive, and Mobile Testing.
• Execute API testing using Postman or REST Assured to validate request/response contracts.
• Validate AI-powered applications including LLM-based features, prompt workflows, and chatbot responses.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of defects.
• Develop reusable automation scripts and integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute database validations and data integrity testing using SQL.
• Perform basic performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or k6.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Practical experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Mandatory experience in testing AI-powered applications, including Generative AI solutions and LLM-based applications.
• Understanding of AI testing concepts including prompt testing and hallucination detection.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and SQL database validation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in English and Malayalam.
