Job Description
Role Overview
SpyCloud is seeking a passionate Security Data Analyst/Python Developer to parse, transform, and analyze complex datasets. This role involves bringing order to unstructured data and building robust automation for our parsing platform. The position is hybrid in Austin, Texas or remote within the United States with quarterly travel.
Responsibilities
- Parse, clean, and transform structured and unstructured datasets to the SpyCloud schema.
- Build Python-based automation for the parsing platform.
- Develop ETL-style automation scripts.
- Monitor the ingestion process for issues.
- Collaborate to design and build innovative data systems.
- Analyze data based on blog consumption for marketing.
- Develop processes, standards, and CI/CD pipelines to manage codebase.
- Leverage AI to automate parsing of dirty datasets.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional experience as a Python developer.
- Experience building data solutions and automation tools using Python.
- Proficiency in Linux bash/ksh scripting and Regular Expressions.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
