MERN Stack Developer Intern

Role Overview

Stacia Corp is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer Intern to join our growing team. You will play a key role in developing cutting-edge web applications, designing and implementing RESTful APIs, managing data storage with MongoDB, and integrating the front-end with the back-end using Node.js and Express.js.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and secure RESTful APIs for our web applications.
• Implement data storage solutions using MongoDB and demonstrate proficiency with NoSQL databases.
• Seamlessly integrate the front end with the back end using Node.js and Express.js.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices.
• Develop and implement user authentication and authorization solutions to ensure data security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold high-quality standards throughout the codebase.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Experience as a Node.js developer (preferred).
• Knowledge of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js).
• Proven experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong understanding of database design and management, especially MongoDB.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and experience implementing authentication/authorization solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your web development expertise, preferably with MERN stack applications.
