AI-Assisted Software Developer and QA Engineer

Role Overview

Starvox Labs builds agentic AI products used by real businesses. We're looking for an AI Software Developer who can own the full lifecycle of a feature from spec to production using AI coding tools to move fast while still understanding, testing, and shipping clean code yourself. You will convert detailed specification documents into working software using AI coding tools, refine generated code, and rigorously test every feature before handing it over to the DevOps team.

Responsibilities

• Build features from detailed specs, end to end
• Use AI coding assistants like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code productively and understand every line before it ships
• Develop backend services in Python using FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs including OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude
• Build AI agents, voice AI, chatbots, and workflow automation
• Build/maintain REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations
• Work with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering
• Test rigorously (functional, regression, edge cases) and document clearly
• Deploy to production, monitor, and iterate

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in Python, REST APIs, SQL, and Git
• Working exposure to LLMs/GenAI and prompt engineering
• Ability to use AI coding assistants productively and debug/explain the output
• Strong manual testing and documentation habits
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years' experience; Degree in CS/IT/AI-ML/Engineering preferred or 2–3 strong GitHub/portfolio projects
