Job Description
Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Data Governance / Azure Data professional with experience in Microsoft Purview and Azure Data Platforms to support an enterprise data platform optimization and governance initiative.
Responsibilities
- Azure data platform review & optimization
- Medallion architecture standardization
- SCD Type 2 & Fact/Dimension modelling
- Data quality & metadata management
- Microsoft Purview — Catalog, Lineage, Glossary & PII Classification
- Unity Catalog integration
- Data governance & stewardship
- Governance dashboards and documentation
- Training & knowledge transfer
Requirements
- 3–8 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview / Azure Data Governance
- Strong understanding of ADF, Databricks and Azure Data Lake
- Experience working with enterprise data environments
- Ability to identify technical gaps and recommend practical solutions
