Node.js Developer developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled backend developer to develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend applications. You will be responsible for designing RESTful APIs, working with various database systems, and ensuring high application performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Develop unit/integration tests and ensure application reliability.
• Use Git and follow established development and deployment practices.
• Monitor production applications and resolve issues.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
• Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API integration.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB and/or relational databases.
• Experience with TypeScript is preferred.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and event loops.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
