Web Development Intern

Role Overview

Svarajya is building a Financial Governance OS for individuals and families, helping them organize and understand their financial life across income, investments, insurance, and more. As a Web Development Intern, you will work with the development team across frontend, backend, databases, and APIs, contributing to a real, evolving product rather than working on dummy assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve responsive web application modules.
• Build frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Work on backend functionality, APIs, and database integrations.
• Convert UI/UX designs and product requirements into working features.
• Work with authentication, user profiles, dashboards, and financial data structures.
• Integrate APIs and services required by different modules.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and usability problems.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, Data, and AI teams.
• Participate in testing, documentation, code reviews, and feature improvements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related program.
• Understanding of the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience experimenting with React, Next.js, or similar technologies.
• Experience building college projects, personal projects, or hackathon projects.
• Comfortable using Git/GitHub or willing to learn.
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear remote communication abilities.

Nice to Have

• A GitHub profile, deployed project, portfolio, or a small application built independently.
