Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

SwasthiQ is building India’s first AI-driven health assistance ecosystem to revolutionize preventive care and streamline healthcare coordination. This is a full-time remote Software Engineer Intern position where you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, focusing on full stack web development and programming tasks.

Responsibilities

• Draft efficient code and participate in team brainstorming sessions.
• Debug, test, and ensure high software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions and contribute to product innovation.
• Develop core microservices for Scheduling, Consultation, and Billing.
• Interface backend services with the WhatsApp assistant for care automation.

Requirements

• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs (AppSync).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and ACID guarantees.
• Ability to work with AWS Lambda-based serverless backends using Python.
• Experience with Pydantic for secure clinical data validation.
• Understanding of LangGraph and LangChain for building agentic healthcare flows.
• Familiarity with encryption, consent flows, and ABDM-aligned standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
