QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to contribute to our QA team and help scale our processes. You will practice QA principles for both manual and automation testing, advocate for the QA platform, and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the SDLC and be able to grasp complex software domain concepts to design logical, functional, and UI scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the QA team and help scale QA processes through manual or automation testing.
• Advocate for the QA platform and lead the technical vision.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Participate in test reviews and team meetings.
• Follow disciplined software development practices.
• Execute detailed Test plans and Test cases.
• Manage defects and perform usability, browser compatibility, stress, and load testing.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in Mobile apps or Web development testing.
• Extensive experience in manual testing.
• Experience with iOS and Android application testing.
• Experience with cross-browser testing.
• Experience working with international customers (preferably US-based).
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Degree in Computer Science (MCA, BE, or B.Tech).
