Java Developer

Role Overview

In this hands-on position, you will design, develop, and deliver web-based Java applications and systems. You will be part of a fast-paced, highly technical development team responsible for developing and delivering SaaS solutions, participating in all phases of the SDLC from system analysis to deployment and support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver web-based applications and subsystems.
• Maintain and support production and non-production systems.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Work in an Agile environment using iterative and test-driven design methods.
• Work closely with onshore and offshore partners to define and execute requirements.
• Conduct design and code reviews and provide feedback on engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide production support to resolve issues quickly.
• Work autonomously while exercising sound judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 plus years of programming experience.
• Proficiency with common Agile practices.
• Excellent understanding of engineering best practices and software design.
• Excellent written, documentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with message queues, caching, and observability tools such as Dynatrace.
• Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
