Junior Python developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Python developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining applications while growing your career in a professional environment. Please note that candidates must currently reside in Madurai and have 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience; freshers and internship-only experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards.
• Assist in developing web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
• Work with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Learn new technologies and implement best development practices.

Requirements

• 6 months to 2 years of relevant Python development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Must be currently residing in Madurai.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Django or Flask.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Familiarity with the Frappe Framework or ERPNext.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
