Junior Software Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer who will work closely with our development team to build, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the Take On BnB website and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of web development, databases, APIs, and Git/GitHub, and be willing to learn and work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and features for Take On BnB.
• Work on both frontend and backend development as required.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Work with databases and perform basic database operations.
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot errors, and improve website performance.
• Implement features such as user authentication, OTP verification, bookings, property listings, dashboards, and notifications.
• Ensure the website is responsive and works properly across devices.
• Work with Git/GitHub for version control and code management.
• Participate in testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and convert them into working features.
• Follow clean, reusable, and maintainable coding practices.
• Monitor and improve website speed, security, and overall reliability.
