Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a specialized IEC 61850 Engineer to develop, integrate, and troubleshoot IEC 61850-compliant Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate IEC 61850-compliant Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs).
- Implement IEC 61850 services including MMS and GOOSE.
- Manage Client/Server communication and Substation Configuration Language (SCL) files.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Debug embedded systems using JTAG/SWD interfaces.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in C, C++, and Embedded C.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, Socket Programming, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Expertise in IEC 61850 communication protocols for Substation Automation Systems (SAS).
- Knowledge of logical nodes and data models.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Git version control.
- Exposure to Static Code Analysis and secure coding.
- Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps.
