Data Science & AI Engineering Intern

Role Overview

TalentSpotify is an AI-powered performance and talent intelligence platform helping organizations retain top performers through fair, data-backed performance management. We are looking for a Data Science & AI Engineering Intern to work directly on TARA's bias-detection pipeline and our broader AI stack. This is a 9-month cohort-based program designed to provide training and hands-on experience in a remote, async-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data preprocessing, model experimentation, and evaluation for TARA
• Contribute to AI-driven product features and RAG pipelines
• Support research on bias detection and performance analytics
• Turn KPI and usage data into decision-systems teams actually trust
• Work with MongoDB, AWS, and contribute to React/Node components

Requirements

• Strong Python skills including Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn
• Hands-on experience with RAG and current AI tooling
• Working familiarity with MongoDB and AWS
• Basic working knowledge of React and Node
• Logical thinking and genuine curiosity for ambiguous problems
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS/Engineering/IT or equivalent practical experience
• Clear written communication skills for a remote, distributed team
