PHP Web Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHP Web Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web applications and websites using PHP and related technologies. You will work closely with designers, developers, and other team members to build reliable, scalable, secure, and user-friendly web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dynamic websites and web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Work with MySQL or other relational databases to design and optimize database queries.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and website issues.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers to implement new features.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Perform testing and ensure applications meet functional and technical requirements.
• Maintain existing applications and provide ongoing technical support.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and software development best practices.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming.
• Good understanding of MySQL/database concepts and SQL queries.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or another PHP framework.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Understanding of website security, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
