Engineering Intern

Role Overview

Join TartanHQ to build AI-powered products that solve real business problems. This is a 12-month, work-from-office internship in Gurgaon where you will work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to live products, and write code that reaches real users from day one.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services and intuitive frontend applications.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to develop real-world features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java, Python, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Participate in code reviews and learn industry-standard software engineering practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with databases, REST APIs, and cloud-based applications.
• Gain hands-on exposure to AI-powered technologies and modern software development practices.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, React, SQL, or modern frontend frameworks is an advantage.
• Understanding of databases, APIs, and software development fundamentals.
• A curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Personal projects, GitHub contributions, hackathons, or previous internships are a plus.
