Backend Developer (.NET 8 + Azure)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API, Azure Services, and SQL Server to build scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs, Azure Functions, Entity Framework Core, and Azure cloud services while following clean architecture and best coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Develop scalable backend services using .NET 8 and C#.
• Build and maintain Azure Functions for background processing and event-driven workflows.
• Optimize Entity Framework Core queries and SQL Server performance.
• Implement authentication and authorization using Azure AD / Entra ID.
• Integrate applications with third-party systems such as Workday and Kronos.
• Implement structured logging using Azure Application Insights.
• Manage secrets and configurations using Azure Key Vault.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Write unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8 / C#.
• Expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core).
• Strong SQL Server knowledge (queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Application Insights, and Azure Storage.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Dependency Injection, Middleware, Repository Pattern, and Clean Architecture.

• gRPC or Microservices Architecture.
• OpenTelemetry.
• QuestPDF or EPPlus.
• DevExtreme Data Grid integration.
