Techolas Calicut is looking for a Student Counsellor Intern with a background in Psychology to connect with students, understand factors affecting academic engagement, and help them overcome mental blocks affecting their learning and progress. The role focuses on improving student focus, motivation, and learning habits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular one-on-one interactions to understand academic mindset and engagement levels.
- Identify mental blocks, procrastination, and low confidence affecting learning.
- Help students develop better study habits, concentration, and time-management skills.
- Motivate students struggling with consistency, attendance, or course participation.
- Conduct structured counselling sessions focused on mindset and career readiness.
- Collaborate with trainers, academic coordinators, and placement teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Strong interest in student development and behavioural psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
