Role Overview
TechTvarit is looking for a WordPress Developer Intern to help build and maintain a fast, modern, and SEO-friendly news platform. You will work closely with editorial and product teams to enhance user experience and implement new features for a high-performance media platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Customize themes and plugins based on business requirements.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure the website is responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Implement SEO best practices and schema markup.
- Troubleshoot bugs and perform regular website maintenance.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, analytics, and marketing platforms.
- Maintain website security and perform backups and updates.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of WordPress development.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and website optimization.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website performance.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
