Data Scientist - Microsoft Fabric

Role Overview

Techwurkz is hiring a Data Scientist – AI & Analytics for a leading global technology organization. This role focuses on building AI-driven analytics and enterprise data science solutions using Microsoft Fabric, developing predictive models, and working with modern AI and data engineering technologies in a cloud-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Machine Learning models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis.
• Build AI-powered analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and OneLake.
• Design and optimize Power BI dashboards, semantic models, DAX, and Copilot-enabled reporting.
• Develop Fabric Data Agents and AI-driven conversational analytics solutions.
• Monitor production environments using Fabric Operations Agents and telemetry analytics.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during incident investigations using AI-powered data insights.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Machine Learning.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, KQL, and DAX.
• Knowledge of anomaly detection, predictive analytics, clustering, drift detection, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Agents, Copilot, or Generative AI solutions is highly desirable.
