Software Engineer - Internship

Role Overview

Teesta Investment is a proprietary high-frequency trading and market-making firm. This is a 4-month, full-time internship based in Kolkata, exclusively for 2026 graduating students. You will work on real engineering problems supporting trading infrastructure, from optimizing performance to building internal tools and enhancing data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance software components using C++.
• Improve the efficiency and reliability of data transmission and processing.
• Work on multithreaded and high-performance applications.
• Contribute to performance optimization and low-latency engineering initiatives.
• Build internal tools and automation to improve developer productivity.
• Work with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• B.Tech in Computer Science or a closely related discipline (2026 graduating batch).
• Strong programming skills in C++.
• Strong competitive programming background (Codeforces, CodeChef, AtCoder, or LeetCode).
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Computer Networks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
