Role Overview

ThapalaBox is an emerging AI-native delivery platform focused on serving rural India. The Software Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the development and testing of AI-powered delivery solutions, working on impactful, real-world problems to improve last-mile delivery in underserved areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing and maintaining code and implementing software features.
• Perform end-to-end testing and write test cases.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on system design and integration tasks.
• Work with Databases, debug issues, and document technical work.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to small projects under guidance.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Programming and Software Development.
• Knowledge of Software Design principles, including modularity and maintainability.
• Familiarity with Databases, querying, and data modeling.
• Understanding of testing practices such as unit testing and integration testing.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
