Role Overview
The Agentic Loop is an AI publication and learning space focused on the frontier of agentic AI. As a Generative AI Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain agentic and generative AI systems, including prompt pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation workflows, and production-ready tools that support our content, programs, and community.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain agentic and generative AI systems, including prompt pipelines and RAG workflows.
- Experiment with foundation models and APIs, implementing and evaluating model integrations.
- Optimize performance and reliability of AI systems.
- Document patterns and best practices for practitioners.
- Collaborate with content creators to turn emerging ideas into working demos and teaching materials.
- Monitor new releases in the AI ecosystem and run prototypes to test practical value.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills in Python or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with generative and agentic AI tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, or Llama.
- Experience with RAG systems, prompt design, and orchestration frameworks.
- Understanding of Vector Databases, embeddings, and cloud services.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
