Shopify Website Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Shopify Web Developer to build, customise, and maintain websites for our roster of premium clients. This is a hands-on, ownership role involving custom theme coding and selecting the optimal stack of apps and partners to support brand growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and customise Shopify themes and templates using custom Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimise onsite performance, including page speed, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Evaluate and implement apps, plugins, and integrations such as payments, CRM, and analytics.
• Advise on Shopify payment gateways and checkout setup.
• Maintain basic SEO hygiene and stay current with the Shopify AI ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot theme, app, and hosting issues; manage backups and migrations.
• Collaborate with design, content, and performance marketing teams.
• Ensure websites are secure, scalable, and easy to manage.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience with Shopify.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Knowledge of themes, plugins, and CMS tools.
• Experience with hosting, backups, and site migrations.
• Ability to work full-time from the office in Delhi.
• Must possess your own laptop.

Preferred

• Agency background managing multiple client accounts.
• Exposure to international Shopify setups (multi-currency, Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay).
• Familiarity with GA4, Search Console, and basic SEO.
