QA Tester & Application Support Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate QA Tester & Application Support Intern with a strong interest in Test Automation. The intern will work on both manual and automated testing, assist in application support, and learn industry best practices for software quality assurance. This role provides hands-on experience in building automation scripts, API testing, defect management, and supporting production applications.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites and execute regression/smoke tests.
• Create and execute manual test cases and perform functional, API, and UAT testing.
• Report, verify, and track defects using Jira.
• Provide Level 1 application support and investigate reported issues.
• Test REST APIs using Postman and validate backend data using SQL.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and document test cases and results.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of manual testing concepts and strong interest in Test Automation.
• Basic knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
