Junior Software Engineer

Role Overview

The Tech Clan (TTC) is a boutique AI and software engineering firm specializing in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, agentic AI, LLM integration, microservices architecture, and complex full-stack engineering. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division for a Junior Software Engineer focused on Node.js, React Native, GraphQL, and AI-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services in Node.js and mobile applications using React Native.
• Implement GraphQL APIs and integrate AI/LLM features into products.
• Debug and resolve issues while writing clean and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Contribute to microservices-based architectures and learn best practices in software delivery, version control, and continuous integration.

Requirements

• Foundational experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js for backend development, including building REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Exposure to React Native for mobile application development, including UI components and state management.
• Basic familiarity with GraphQL concepts such as schemas, queries, and mutations.
• Interest or experience in AI/ML, LLM integration, or RAG/agentic AI systems.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, Git, testing, and debugging practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.
