Data Engineer

Role Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will join a team with a long history of stability and excellence, helping to build and maintain the data infrastructure that drives our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Fivetran and dbt.
• Implement and maintain Snowflake data warehouse.
• Work closely with data science and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility while maintaining security protocols.
• Create and maintain documentation of data pipeline processes and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipeline performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience migrating from SQL Server to Snowflake is a plus.
