Software Engineer – Internal Platforms & Tools

Role Summary Therm-X is expanding its suite of internal software platforms, tools, and scripts that support engineering, manufacturing, and test operations across the organization — spanning web-based management systems, database and system integrations, desktop field clients, and automation for test and measurement equipment. We are hiring a Software Engineer to help develop, extend, and maintain these internal systems as part of a small, high-ownership team based in our India remote support facility. This is a hands-on, full-stack software engineering role. A core part of how we work is AI-assisted, agentic programming — engineers work fluently alongside AI coding agents to design, draft, refactor, and test code, and are expected to critically review and take full ownership of the results. A strong foundation in programming and computer science is essential, because the engineer must judge correctness, structure, and maintainability rather than simply accept generated output. The role starts as a single contributor and is expected to grow to a team of two to three as the platform expands.
