Role Overview

A web developer specializing in both WordPress and Shopify is a versatile professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites on both platforms, often with a focus on e-commerce solutions using WooCommerce (for WordPress) and the Shopify ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Handle complete website development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Perform end-to-end integrations including payment gateways, third-party APIs, CRM tools, shipping integrations, and marketing tools.
• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
• Ensure website security and regular backups.
• Coordinate with designers, content teams, and marketing teams for project execution.

Requirements

• 1 years strong experience on working with WordPress & Shopify.
• Strong hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
• Experience in theme customization and plugin/app development.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
• Experience with payment gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
• Experience in API integration and third-party tools integration.
• Understanding of hosting environments and domain management.
• Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Experience with website migration and performance optimization.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
