Gen AI Engineer Intern

Role Description

This is a full-time internship position based in

Pune

, with flexibility for hybrid work. As a

GenAI Engineer Intern

, you will work on building AI-powered features for Tickernaut's financial intelligence platform. You'll contribute to developing LLM-powered workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, AI agents, and document intelligence pipelines that transform financial filings, news, and market data into actionable insights.

You will collaborate closely with the founding team to prototype and deploy production-ready AI solutions, optimize prompts and retrieval pipelines, evaluate model performance, and experiment with the latest advancements in Generative AI. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI applications in finance with significant ownership and real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, and AI fundamentals.
• Proficiency in

Python

with experience building AI applications.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as

LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic SDK, or similar AI frameworks

.

• Understanding of

RAG, embeddings, vector databases (FAISS, pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)

, and prompt engineering.

• Experience with APIs, JSON, REST services, and Git.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of
