QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing for web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, executing test cases, and ensuring software quality through automated testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform API testing and validation using REST APIs and Postman.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, track, and report defects while ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and troubleshoot issues.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience in UI Automation Testing for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of API Testing (Postman, REST APIs).
• Experience in Test Framework Design and Maintenance.
• Experience with CI/CD Integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of Cross-browser and Cross-platform Testing.
• Proficiency with Git Version Control.
• Experience in Test Reporting, Debugging, and Defect Tracking.
• Ability to independently create, maintain, and execute automation scripts.

Good to Have:

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.
• Knowledge of Performance Testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Experience in Mobile Automation Testing.
