QA Engineer

Role Overview

TPots IT Solutions is looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join an ongoing project. The ideal candidate should be able to start testing from day one, work closely with developers, and ensure the quality of web and mobile applications before release.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing.
• Test web and mobile applications across multiple devices.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Share test reports and support release sign-off activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Manual QA.
• Strong understanding of STLC, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic API testing experience using Postman is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English; Hindi/Gujarati is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Engagement Details

• Freelance/Contract role for 2–3 months.
