Role Overview
The Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) Intern will work within the SearsKAIros Applied AI Division at TransformCo, partnering directly with business and operational teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and workflow optimization. This role involves embedding with operational teams to develop production-ready AI agent solutions using the SearsKAIros Applied AI platform.
Responsibilities
- Shadow business operators to document manual processes and translate workflows into AI agent specifications.
- Design, build, test, and deploy AI agents on the SearsKAIros Applied AI platform.
- Integrate AI agents with internal systems and external models including Claude, OpenAI Realtime, Gemini, and MCP servers.
- Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions from rapid prototyping to production deployment.
- Develop evaluations, guardrails, monitoring, and rollback procedures.
- Build dashboards and KPI tracking tools to measure business impact.
- Collaborate with engineering and operational leadership to support implementation and user training.
