Job Description
Role Overview
As an Assoc Developer, Applications Development at TransUnion, you will work in a collaborative and innovative environment, developing C/C++ programs within Unix/Windows environments. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days a week in an assigned office location.
Responsibilities
- Develop C/C++ programs on Unix/Windows environments independently from specs and design.
- Create program specifications from functional documents.
- Create test scenarios for verification and validation.
- Follow the SDLC process for development, QA, and audit processing.
- Liaise with global stakeholders for requirement understanding and clarification.
- Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in C and C++.
- High proficiency in C/C++ programming on Unix/Windows.
- Good knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the Credit Industry.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Harness, GIT, or Maven.
- Knowledge of Python, R, Java, or Ab-Initio.
