About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced API Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Apigee X, Apigee Edge, or Apigee Hybrid. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, securing, deploying, and monitoring enterprise-grade APIs and integration workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RESTful, SOAP, and gRPC-based API proxies
- Onboard backend services to the Apigee platform
- Implement traffic-management policies such as Spike Arrest, Quota, and Caching
- Configure mediation policies for JSON, XML, XSLT, and JavaScript transformations
- Build reusable Shared Flows and Flow Hooks
- Implement standard error handling, logging, and security policies
- Configure OAuth 2.0, JWT validation, API Key verification, TLS, and mTLS
- Manage Key Value Maps, Target Servers, Keystores, and Truststores
- Monitor API performance, latency, traffic, and error trends using Apigee Analytics
- Troubleshoot runtime issues using Apigee Debug and Trace tools
- Automate API deployments using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Maven, or Grunt
- Manage configurations across Development, Testing, and Production environments
- Design integration workflows using Google Cloud Application Integration
- Connect enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, and databases
