Full-Stack / Frontend Engineer – UI/UX

Role Overview

Monoedge is looking for a Full-Stack / Frontend Engineer with strong UI/UX capabilities to own the web application's interface and user experience from design through implementation. This is a combined engineering + design role for someone who can design intuitive interfaces and then build them using modern frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Design and build interactive data visualizations, including graph and network views.
• Integrate backend APIs, authentication flows, and client-side application state.
• Own UI/UX design for new features, including user flows, interaction design, visual consistency, and accessibility.
• Design and ship features from concept through implementation.
• Build reporting and export functionality, including PDF documents and rendered diagrams.
• Monitor frontend reliability, performance, and responsive behaviour across devices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Genuine UI/UX design ability — capable of designing interfaces rather than only implementing existing designs.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization.
• Experience integrating APIs and managing client-side state.
• Strong attention to visual detail and user experience.
• Ability to create interfaces that are clear, responsive, fast, and easy to use.

Nice to Have

• React Flow, vis-network, D3, or similar graph-visualization libraries
• Figma and a strong portfolio
• Knowledge of WCAG/accessibility standards
• Client-side PDF and diagram rendering
