Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a backend-focused Quarkus Developer to design and build robust, secure, and compliant systems. This role involves owning services end-to-end, from data modeling and API design to deployment within enterprise-grade cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using Java and Quarkus.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OIDC/OAuth2 and RBAC.
- Develop event-driven or streaming architectures ensuring durability and ordering guarantees.
- Build systems that meet strict audit and compliance requirements for regulated domains.
- Own the full service lifecycle including data modeling, API design, testing, and deployment.
- Manage containerized deployments within enterprise network constraints.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience in Java.
- Proven experience with Quarkus framework.
- Experience with Kafka or gRPC bidirectional streaming.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE, IAM, and VPC networking.
