Role Overview
Oracle is seeking a motivated Backend Engineer (Mid Level) to join its product-modernisation team under a staff-augmentation model. Working under Oracle’s direct architectural oversight, the engineer will build the core middleware layer connecting Microsoft 365 environments with enterprise intelligence platforms. The work will focus on executing the Graph API Sync Layer, developing Admin Backend configuration services, managing the API Gateway layout and providing data-connectivity hooks for a proactive Agentic AI Orchestrator.
Responsibilities
- Develop a timer-triggered, server-side backend service providing bidirectional synchronisation between Siebel CRM and Microsoft Outlook Tasks through the Microsoft Graph Tasks API.
- Implement tenant-level detection to manage connectivity across legacy Exchange Tasks and modern Microsoft To Do APIs.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Graph subscription models, webhooks, delta queries and event-change notifications.
- Deliver the programmatic foundations of the administrative configuration dashboard, supporting conflict-resolution policies and custom schema maps.
- Support the Agentic AI Orchestrator by exposing data definitions through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) framework.
- Manage delegated token flows using Nested App Authentication (NAA) and establish offline retry queues.
Requirements
- Solid backend software-engineering experience using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Deep hands-on proficiency with the Microsoft Graph API framework (Mail, Calendar, Tasks, and People domains).
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0 permission models, and token lifecycle management.
- Understanding of asynchronous processing, background workers, queuing mechanisms, and complex data-conflict synchronisation.
