ETL Tester (SDET – Data Testing & Automation)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester (SDET – Data Testing & Automation) with strong expertise in validating enterprise data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, cloud-based data integration workflows, and business-critical reporting systems while developing robust automation frameworks for web and data applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL test strategies and test plans.
• Validate Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, data ingestion workflows, and orchestration processes.
• Perform source-to-target data validation and data reconciliation.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
• Develop reusable automated test scripts using JavaScript, Java, and Python.
• Validate REST APIs supporting ETL and data integration workflows.
• Perform database testing using SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Developers in Agile environments.

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong expertise in SQL and database validation.
• Experience in automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
