QA Automation Engineer (Test Automation & API Testing)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Test Automation, API Testing, and modern automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, validating APIs, and ensuring the quality of web applications through automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web applications using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end automated test suites.
• Develop and execute automated API test cases for RESTful services using Postman or REST Assured.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using tools like Jira.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps in Agile environments.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Test Automation Framework Development.
• Expertise in Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Hands-on experience with API Testing and Postman.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C#.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD integration.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
