Role Overview
We are looking for a FreeSWITCH Implementation Engineer who will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, integrating, and maintaining FreeSWITCH-based VoIP platforms. The role involves working closely with SIP, RTP, WebRTC, IVR, conferencing, call routing, and external integrations in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain FreeSWITCH in production environments from scratch.
- Design and implement call flows, dialplans, IVRs, conferencing, and call routing.
- Configure SIP profiles, gateways, trunks, and extensions.
- Troubleshoot SIP signaling, RTP media, and SDP negotiation issues such as one-way audio and call drops.
- Develop dialplans using XML, Lua, JavaScript, or Python.
- Integrate with CRM/ERP, REST APIs, WebSockets, and AI voice bots.
- Use Event Socket Library (ESL) for real-time call control.
- Configure WebRTC support including DTLS-SRTP, ICE, and OPUS.
- Deploy and manage on Linux (CentOS / Ubuntu) and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience, with 3+ years specifically in FreeSWITCH production environments.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies including SIP, RTP, RTCP, and SDP.
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration and debugging tools like sngrep and tcpdump.
- Experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for CDRs and reporting.
- Must be currently based in Delhi NCR.
- Immediate joiners or those with a 15-day notice period preferred.
